Limited Editions
Introduction
In order to retain a certain exclusivity I have chosen some of my favourite photographs
to form limited editions. These will be restricted to a small print run. Once the
print run limit has been reached no further prints of that image in that format
will be made. A small number of additional prints may also be produced for proofing
purposes and these will be labeled as such. Please note that I retain the right
to continue providing any limited edition photographs for editorial use, in magazines
for example, after the print run has finished. All limited edition prints will be
accompanied with a signed certificate of authenticity which also provides proof
of ownership.
Quality
All limited editions are produced to the highest possible standards and printed
on high grade Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper at a professional print lab. Each
photograph is first prepared on my colour calibrated computer for optimum resolution
and colour accuracy before being sent to the lab. I personally inspect each and
every print thouroughly before carefully packaging it for delivery to ensure that
my high standards are met.
Mounting, where requested, is completed by an established local framing company
which ensures first class results. I have used this friendly company for all of
my mounting requirements and have always been astonished by the quality of their
work.
Sizes
The print sizes for limited editions are restricted to ensure that all prints in
the edition maintain my original vision and are as striking as possible. All photographs
are printed onto oversized paper which creates a large white border around the photograph.
This provides space for the print to be signed and for mounting to occur without
encrouching on the photograph. The sizes listed for each image refer to the actual
image size, with the paper size usually being a few inches more in each dimension.
Prices
Prices for limited editions will vary between editions. This is because the cost
of an edition will increase as more prints are sold. This in turn should increase
the value of your own investment and it is recommended you purchase a photograph
early in the edition to maximise this investment.
